Livvie and Andrew lived in the US, but they weren't afraid of the distance. More than 3,600 miles separated them from Portugal, yet they knew this palace was worth every step of the journey.

We at Peach Perfect Weddings have found a love for intimate wedding celebrations, where the guest list is small and every person at the wedding is a beloved friend or family member. Livvie and Andrew's wedding in Portugal included just under 100 guests - more than most of our couples decide to bring along - but it was just as intimate and heart-felt as they come.

With so many loved ones - all traveling from overseas to witness the couple's once-in-a-lifetime celebration, it could have been overwhelming to plan such a large event from abroad. Our destination wedding planner in Portugal, Patrícia, made it her mission to be by her couple's side at every step, and assure that every challenge had a solution.

From the very first call, she worked closely with Livvie and Andrew both. Bringing her local knowledge and her trusted network of vendors, she helped bring their vision together seamlessly, sparing them countless hours of research and coordination.

Nestled away from the bustle of Lisbon, this 15th-century palace is an exclusive hideaway surrounded by rolling hills and endless greenery. On their wedding day, it became theirs alone - a private paradise for celebrating with loved ones.

Among all of our wedding venues in Portugal it was this historic manor house that caught the couple's heart.

Our beautiful bride got ready in the midst of her family and her very closest friends. Her team of stylists took care of hair and makeup for her and her bridal party, and out photographer was in attendance to capture candid memories of this sunny morning.

The day began with intimate family-centered moments. One of the most touching parts of this destination wedding in Portugal was Livvie's first look with her dad, shared in the palace garden surrounded by blooming greenery.

While the palace provided breathtaking beauty, it was the personal details that truly made this celebration unforgettable. Livvie and Andrew worked closely with Patricia to weave meaningful elements into their day.

One of the sweetest things they did was to print photos of their parents’ and grandparents’ weddings that were displayed at a table named, “The love stories that led to us.” It couldn’t be any sweeter!

If that wasn’t enough for a personal touch, they handwrote a note to all the guests, thanking them for coming all the way to Portugal to be with them on their special day!

The quiet moments just before the ceremony, last preparations and touchups being made, quick glances being exchanged, the anticipation rising - how we love seeing these!

For the wedding ceremony, guests gathered in the spacious garden, framed by historic palace walls. Accompanied by their parents, bride and groom made their way down the aisle. With the sun shining and their loved ones dressed elegantly in black, Livvie and Andrew stood out as they exchanged heartfelt vows.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a relaxed drinks reception outdoors, complete with heartfelt speeches and plenty of laughter. Then it was time to move into the greenhouse - a unique space at the heart of the estate that became the setting for their unforgettable reception.

Gently styled with lush greenery, the greenhouse offered both charm and space. Guests dined on modern and traditional Portuguese dishes prepared by the venue's chefs, before the party kicked into full swing.

Livvie and Andrew set the tone for the night of their small wedding in Portugal, leading the way on the dance floor as music filled the air and laughter echoed through the estate. From singing to dancing to moments of pure joy, it was a reception that none of their guests will ever forget.

As the evening ended under Portuguese stars, with string lights glowing and music drifting through the gardens, everyone knew they'd witnessed something truly extraordinary.
