Where to begin! When we first started looking at wedding ideas, location, and guest count- we pretty quickly decided planning a big wedding would just not be something we wanted! Without any knowledge I looked up elopement’s in Italy and Peach Perfect Weddings popped up. Their website was so easy to use I was thinking no way it can be this easy to plan a wedding over seas! I was contacted by Eleonora the wedding planner for Italy and the rest is history! She is absolutely wonderful. After the many emails back and forth about details - soon became reality and we had the wedding of our dreams. Story
When a couple says they had the wedding of their dreams, it’s easy to assume they went through a difficult process just to make it happen. That’s not the case for Samantha and Kenton. They did not have to endure a painful ordeal just to make their dream wedding come true. In fact, the whole wedding planning was stress-free even though they got married overseas. This may sound unbelievable, but let’s walk you through their story, and how their dream wedding became a reality.
Planning their destination wedding in Italy
Samantha and Kenton wanted an intimate wedding from the very start, that’s why it was not difficult for them to come up with a final guest list. Once the number had been decided, everything else became easy to plan.
Our wedding planner in Italy, Eleonora, helped them decide where to perform the ceremony, and they ended up with the perfect choice, which was the panoramic terrace overlooking the lake. It was the perfect spot for small weddings like theirs with barely 12 guests in total. The cocktails and reception areas were also planned out, including the menu for the couple and the guests. We had to consider Samantha’s allergies, so the couple ended up with a customized menu that was equally sumptuous.
Eleonora planned everything down to the littlest detail, after consultations with Samantha and Kenton via email - from the song lineup, bouquets and boutonnieres, the number of bridesmaids needing hair and makeup, down to the rooms for accommodations.
About the wedding venue
Choosing the venue was one of the most crucial parts of planning Samantha and Kenton’s wedding. They gave Eleonora a vision of how they wanted their wedding to look, and Eleonora suggested different venue options for them.
In the end, the couple picked this romantic lakeside villa in Como, and the rest is history. The villa made all their wedding dreams come true, from the dreamy ceremony overlooking the lake to the airy outdoor cocktails, and cozy wedding dinner to cap their day.
Above all the offerings of this lovely villa, Samantha and Kenton could not wish for a better honeymoon than what they had in this perfect Italian venue.
The romantic day that was
The couple’s day started with a fun preparation with their loved ones. As Samantha got ready with her girls, Kenton dressed up with so much excitement to see his bride.
Samantha hid inside the room to ensure her groom won’t see her before their first look. When they were finally ready, they went to the garden for their most awaited first look. It was a wonderful moment as the couple stared at each other in awe of the beauty right before them.
Finally, they proceeded to the terrace for their short yet meaningful ceremony where everyone teared up, laughed, and smiled as the couple recited their vows.
The photoshoot followed, and Samantha and Kenton sneaked out to the boat dock to light their smoke bombs. It was one of the most fun parts of their big day!
After their quick couple portraits, they joined their guests on the veranda in the pool garden for a memorable wedding dinner. The dinner table and the lake views were just perfect for a Lake Como destination wedding.
