Location, location, location
I plan weddings all across the Spanish mainland, plus the Balearic and Canary islands. These are some of my favorite spots.
Ibiza
The White Island is much more than just a party island. Its beaches, mountains, and stunning countryside are obvious attractions, but there’s also a magic in the air you won’t find anywhere else.
Costa del Sol
Say I do on the sunshine coast, whether it’s on the white-sand beaches or in a beautiful villa that's overlooking the sea.
Andalusia
Head to the south of Spain for an extra warm welcome, unforgettable food, and a celebration that’s soundtracked with the rhythm of flamenco!

Got a date?
Got a date in mind, or still deciding when would be a good time? Here are some things to consider.
The weather
You’re guaranteed warm weather from April until end October. Even March and November see temperatures of up to 66°F (19°C) in the south. July and August can easily reach over 86°F (30°C), so avoid these if you’re not a fan of the heat.
Your budget
Got a strict budget? Pick a date outside of the main wedding season of May to October to make your money go further. You'll also have more choice with your venue and vendors.
Other tourists
Spain is popular all year round, but tourism reaches its peak in the summer, Christmas, and New Year. If you want as few other people around as possible, and to benefit from cheaper accommodation, plan your wedding outside these times.
Your guest list
Your guests will enjoy cheaper travel and accommodation costs if you select a date in the off-peak tourism season, meaning more of them will be able to celebrate in person in Spain with you.
Spanish wedding ceremonies
There are three types of wedding ceremony you can choose from in Spain. I'm here to help you choose the best one for you, including any paperwork and translations needed.
Civil
To have a legally binding civil ceremony in Spain, one of you must be a citizen or have lived in Spain for two years. It has to take place at a town hall or civil registry office, rather than a private venue.
Religious
Only Catholic wedding ceremonies are legally binding. If you’re not a Spanish citizen or a two-year resident, you can legalize your Catholic wedding by filing your marriage documents with the local Spanish civil registry. You can then register your Spanish wedding when you get back to your home country.
Symbolic
No paperwork required — just a celebration of your love. Perfect if you want to get legally married at home, then celebrate in Spain with a unique, personalized ceremony in a stylish venue. (Bonus, as a qualified celebrant I can definitely help with this!)
Kind words from our couples

"Jill was always very reacheable over whatsapp, email or whatever communication we needed. Fast and deep responses. [...] she was there with high energy and professionalism."
"If you're looking for a team that truly listens, cares, and goes above and beyond to make your day as special as possible, Peach Perfect Weddings is the way to go."
FAQs
What are the benefits of using a Spanish wedding planner?
Planning a wedding in your home country can be hard enough, but doing it in a foreign country and in a different language takes the difficulty up a lot more notches. I speak fluent Spanish and have an extensive network of local wedding vendors. Another advantage is that I’ve been living and working in Spain for decades, so have a deep understanding of Spanish culture and invaluable local knowledge. So all those little questions you may have (do I need to tip vendors? How do I organize taxis for guests after the wedding?), I’m always at the end of the phone or an email to answer.
What sets you apart from other wedding planners?
Everything I do, I do with love. And I never forget your love in the midst of all the planning, and that my role is to make a lovely bunch of memories for you to keep forever. This helps me put couples at ease, and I think it’s why so many keep in touch with me years after we’ve worked together.
I want to get married in the winter. Will it still be sunny?
If you’d like a winter wedding with guaranteed sunshine, leave the Spanish mainland and travel further south to the Canary Islands – Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, or La Gomera. Their average temperatures are 68-72°F (20-22°C) between December and February.
The person behind the planner
Home town?
Originally Derry in Northern Ireland. I moved to Ibiza in 1997 and stayed for 17 years, then returned in 2023 for my next Balearic adventure as your favorite Spanish wedding planner.
Favorite things to do in Ibiza?
Exploring its beautiful countryside on foot and by bike. I also love taking part in events in my local village — a highlight this year was being in the carnival parade!
Favorite part of wedding planning?
Getting to truly know my couples and celebrating their unique connection. A wedding is about two souls coming together, regardless of their gender, neurotype, religion, or background. I love celebrating that connection, and genuinely believe I work with the couples I’m meant to meet.
Books or TV?
Books every time. I love reading so much I did a degree in English Literature so I could immerse myself in books!
Favorite food?
I love tom kha ga soup, but you also can’t beat my mammy’s cooking!
