About this venue
Highlights
The owners of this former aristocratic residence might have had intimate occasions in mind when they restored this large villa for weddings in Umbria into what it is today. Undoubtedly, this 18th century villa is one of the most wonderful venues for small weddings in Italy. Look at that charming residence that's surrounded by picturesque valleys and lush greenery. It has a sophisticated courtyard, spacious and vibrant gardens, and a small church inside - all of which are perfect spots for very intimate weddings.
Ceremony
The outdoor grounds of the villa will definitely look amazing for groups of 30 people or more. They all provide a surreal backdrop composed of Italian rolling hills, vineyards, and olive groves. In case of adverse weather, the ceremony for elopements and very intimate weddings can be held in the 16sqm tower situated in the villa's rooftop.
Reception
If you want to have an outdoor banquet for the reception, pick any portion of the garden, the courtyard, or the area around the Gelsi House’s swimming pool. Your indoor dining options, on the other hand, include the Dolium Restaurant and a separate dedicated function room for groups of up to 50 people.
Accommodation
Even before you get to these spots for the ceremony, you can have amazing photos taken inside the rooms of the venue. Choose from among its 27 elegant rooms and suites, divided into 5 different country houses, starting from the Historic Villa to the Olives House, to the Limonaia, to the Olivaia, to the Gelsi House. Each is reminiscent of the 18th century arts and culture with frescoes, classic terracotta floors, sophisticated textiles of Montefalco, and antique furnishings. All the rooms are equipped with the necessary amenities for a grand and relaxing atmosphere.
Facilities
After the wedding, indulge at the spa - a "heavenly sanctuary" right in front of the villa's Italian gardens. It offers luxury treatments like massage therapy and relaxing facial treatments in an 18th century setting.
