Stunning wedding arch for a Lake Como intimate wedding
Had an awesome experience working with Eleonora at Peach Perfect. We had never been to the venue or to Lake Como and Eleonora made the planning process stress free. The wedding turned out better than we ever could have imagined, it truly was a dream!
Story
Autumn is considered an off-peak season for tourists and a perfect time to travel for a less crowded Italian destination wedding. Italy is a popular European destination where you can easily get lost in the sea of tourists if you travel during the peak season. Gladly, Erin and Alex did not have to deal with all that because they chose to get married in Italy on a fine autumn day in October.
Planning their destination wedding in Italy
While most of our couples would bring zero to only a handful of guests to their destination wedding in Europe, Erin and Alex brought almost 50 friends and family for their once-in-a-lifetime Italian wedding.
Eleonora, their wedding planner, helped them plan this special day for less than a year, and it was not an easy process. She had to ask for food allergies and specific preferences from the couple and their almost 50 guests to make sure that everything would be safe for their big day.
Eleonora coordinated the wedding menu with the couple and also helped them book the venue for a night. She found the most suitable vendors for Erin and Alex who could fulfill their requests, from the hair and makeup, bouquet and boutonniere, music for the ceremony and reception, and the photographer.
Despite the slightly bigger number of guests compared to the weddings that we normally do, Eleonora was able to hurdle all the challenges to give Erin and Alex the best experience they could ever have.

The romantic day that was
Erin and Alex were blessed with bright and warm weather on the day of their wedding. They had an outdoor ceremony in the wide open space right in front of the lake.
The moment Erin walked towards her groom, all eyes were on her and it’s undeniable how everyone was stunned by the gorgeous bride. They exchanged vows in front of their friends and family and kissed a romantic kiss at the end of the ceremony.
They had a romantic and heartfelt ceremony and their guests got teary-eyed upon hearing the vows. When the ceremony was over, Erin and Alex had a quick photoshoot to savor the beauty of the nature scene in front of them. It was the best chance to have their photos taken with the breathtaking Lake Como and the surreal mountains in the background.
The wedding reception
The most fun part of the day was the wedding reception that happened in the open space in front of the lake. Everything was beautiful - from the unique and purely natural wedding arch filled with pink and white roses, the surreal lake in the background, and the Italian rolling hills on the other side. The special occasion was enveloped in a fairytale ambiance that everyone enjoyed.
The wedding dinner arrangement was lovely, with the U-shaped set up of tables and chairs that made the occasion even more intimate. The group sat in front of the villa with direct views of the lake and the mountains while they enjoyed Mediterranean dishes for dinner. They heard speeches from the bride and groom’s closest friends and family and savored the Italian wine after dinner.
To cap the event, the newlyweds had a cake-cutting ceremony at the top of the terrace, followed by a fun-filled party that lasted until midnight. It was definitely an occasion to remember!
