Garden wedding for two during golden hour in Amalfi

Review

Overall great experience from Peach Perfect. Eleonora had great communication and coordinated well with the vendors for our elopement in Amalfi. When she was restricted from travel on the day of our ceremony, Eleonora was quick to make sure we were taken care of. Our only criticism is that the package we selected didn't include our wedding dinner at the hotel and we were certain it did. In the future, Peach Perfect should consider outlining a little more clearly what is and is not included.

Story

All the way from the USA, Colleen and Morgan traveled to the southern coastline of Italy for a beautiful seaside destination wedding.

Planning your wedding during the pandemic is never easy, especially when you’ve chosen to tie the knot on a different continent miles away from home. Thanks to their wedding planner in Italy, Eleonora, they have someone on the ground making all the arrangements for that special day.

Planning their destination wedding in Italy

Months before their autumn wedding in Italy, Colleen and Morgan sought the right planners to help them make their dream wedding come true. They found Peach Perfect Weddings, and upon inquiry, they scheduled a consultation call with Eleonora for a bit of getting-to-know-each-other and an in-depth discussion of our elopement packages in Italy.

The couple needed to have someone on the ground to look for the perfect venue for their ceremony and wedding dinner. Finding the ideal venue is the most crucial part of the planning process, and when our planner and the couple found the right venue, that’s almost half the battle won.

Since the two love a seaside ceremony along a scenic Italian coast, they picked a venue in Amalfi overlooking the beautiful seaside villages and the breathtaking Tyrrhenian Sea and the Gulf of Salerno.

Aside from the ceremony location search, Colleen and Morgan included photography, bridal bouquet and boutonniere, hair and makeup, and on-the-day coordination to their elopement package.

The planning process went smoothly because the couple had no complicated requests for the big day. They had no dietary restrictions, and Colleen only requested minimal makeup and a pink and red wedding bouquet with bougainvillea and some greenery.

About the wedding venue

Situated above the surreal sea along Amalfi, this wedding hotel offers dreamy views of the panoramic coast. The whole estate faces two Italian bodies of water - the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Gulf of Salerno - so you can just imagine how magnificent the scenery is from this spot.

To make it even more magical, there were naturally decorated landscaped terraces around the venue, and a garden for intimate ceremonies. Colleen and Morgan tied the knot in this magical botanical garden overlooking the astounding Italian waters.

The romantic wedding day that was

Unlike a typical intimate wedding in Italy, Colleen and Morgan’s was a private elopement for two with no guests and no officiant. They got married with only the two of them in the magical garden of the hotel, with minimal elegant decoration for their special moment.

The ceremony started around 6 pm during the golden hour when the sun gave orange hues to the horizon, and the flowers and greenery in the garden were at their most vibrant state. It was late autumn when Colleen and Morgan got married, and the colors of nature were so alive that day.

They read their vows to each other and their photographers, Viviana & Andrea captured the heartfelt moments of that exchange of vows. The couple smiled, laughed, cried, and kissed during the ceremony, and every minute was genuine as if no one was around as the ceremony unfolded.

Post-ceremony photoshoot at the seaside hotel and around Campania

After their short and meaningful ceremony, Colleen and Morgan enjoyed aperitif at the terrace and watched the views as a newly-married couple.

They took the chance to enjoy the beautiful areas of the hotel and use them for their wedding photos. Colleen’s goddess-like wedding dress and vibrant pink and red bouquet were on full display the whole time.

After maximizing the seaside hotel for their photoshoot, the couple went outside and walked along the streets of Campania. They went from one shop to another and even mixed in with the crowd who happily watched them having their wedding photoshoot.

Their Campania tour lasted until sunset, and you could see the city lights welcoming the evening. After that, Colleen and Morgan returned to the hotel for a romantic dinner at the venue’s restaurant. The two cut their wedding cake as a perfect ending for that fantastic day in Amalfi.
