Beautiful rainy wedding in Limerick
Review
Story
We planned Taniya and David’s entire castle wedding in Ireland over WhatsApp! The reason behind is Taniya’s hectic schedule in a busy hospital in Tampa, Florida and her limited time in front of the computer.
Planning their destination wedding in Ireland
The bride was in love with the idea of getting married on the Cliffs of Moher so we combined her wish with a week-long stay in an intimate Irish castle which Taniya & David shared with seven of their nearest and dearest people, including their two lovely daughters.
Everyone loved having a real castle all to themselves and we can’t blame them! What’s not to love in this medieval-themed structure that’s surrounded by vibrant gardens and oozing freshness?
The romantic day that was
On the wedding morning, Taniya and her ladies were pampered and prepped for the day ahead whilst David went on a pizza run to Limerick The rain threatened to keep the ceremony indoors, but luckily the skies stayed closed long enough for the pair to say their vows and take some gorgeous photos at The Cliffs of Moher.
Taniya was determined that absolutely nothing was going to stand in their way of a romantic ceremony on the cliffs… and she certainly got her wish! For her, it was a dream come true to have a castle wedding in Ireland.
Before they head to the Cliffs of Moher to finally get married, the couple made preparations in the castle. Taniya had her makeup done inside one of the best rooms of this perfect venue for a castle wedding in Ireland.
After getting dressed, the two shared a priceless moment prior to the ceremony, which was their First Look. It happened in the middle of the lush green field surrounding the castle. It was just too lovely to see the look on David’s face when he saw Taniya looking so stunning in her classy wedding dress!
The gorgeous bride then rode a vintage car to one of the best wedding venues in Europe. The couple was lucky enough that the O’Brien tower was not so crowded that day.
There, they had a meaningful ceremony with their kids and loved ones. In the middle of all the formalities, they could hear the heavenly sound of the Celtic harp playing on the background. What a perfect element to cap a destination wedding in Ireland!
Photoshoot at the scenic cliffs
After the ceremony and even with a little rain pouring, Taniya and David did what they came to Ireland for – a photoshoot along the scenic Cliffs of Moher. Even when we couldn’t stop the rain, these two were more unstoppable as they posed, hugged, and kissed for their photographer.
The wedding dinner
Upon return to the castle, the pair enjoyed their First Dance to Nathan Sykes and Ariana Grande’s song “Over and Over Again”, followed by a delicious dinner by candlelight in the castle’s dining room. A perfect finish to a perfect day!
