Wedding in the woods and laidback reception in Tarn

Review

Exactly what we hoped for! We were looking for a wedding planner to help us plan a small international wedding in France. We are from the US and needed someone familiar with the local vendors, customs, and who spoke the language. Peach Perfect checked all those boxes for us and we were able to customize exactly what we needed and forgo what we didn’t need for our wedding package. Philip was there to answer so many questions along the way and help us choose a venue for our budget and help communicate with vendors. Philip was extremely helpful throughout the process and had many calls with us to answer questions as well as constant email communication. Our wedding was exactly what we hoped for thanks to all of the amazing vendors and the venue Peach Perfect and Philip helped us choose. Thank you so much! Philip also helped with any issues that came up along the way, and we truly appreciate it!

Story

Tucked away in the countryside of Tarn, at the end of the winding country lane amid the rural landscape, the manor house where Marissa and Matthew got married made their intimate wedding in France one for the books.

Their ceremony amidst the woodlands and outdoor wedding reception was a dream come true for them, and they achieved 100% of their vision on that special day. Here’s the rest of their destination wedding in France.

Planning their destination wedding in France

Although Marissa and Matthew’s destination wedding included forty people, with the couple and their guests flying from the US to France, the planning journey had been fun and fulfilling. Their clear vision for the wedding day and our wedding planner’s dedication to be the couple’s eyes and ears in France were a perfect combination to make Marrisa and Matthew’s dream wedding come true.

From the type of flowers in Marissa's bouquet to the wedding arch, the floral centerpieces for the reception to the ceremony and party music, everything had to be well coordinated according to the couple’s preferences. The timely and open communication between our planner and the two made everything run smoothly, albeit with many nitty-gritty details.

The wedding venue played a big part in the success of the wedding because it was a perfect backdrop and location for every part of Marissa and Matthew’s big day. Everything was held outdoors, from the ceremony to the evening party. There was a special place in the venue for each leg of the celebration.

The preparations and romantic ceremony in the woods

Marissa and Matthew had their First Look at the venue’s open field dotted with classic olive trees, surrounded by medieval walls.

Marissa carried her spring-themed bouquet, wearing her lovely bridal dress when she patted her excited groom on the back to finally see her all dolled up for their special day. The whole scene was captured in photos when Matthew finally laid eyes on Marissa and could not help but hug and kiss his bride even before the ceremony.

After that, they met some guests in front of the house for a short meet and greet before the woodland ceremony. The area was magical and romantic, with giant trees all around, giving out a peaceful ambiance of being one with nature.

The theme was rustic and blooms, wherein a little bit of spring colors were added, and a wooden arch amidst the vibrant forest was installed in front where the couple and their celebrant stood.

We love everything about the ceremony, especially the genuine moments between the couple and their guests. Everyone was intently watching every part of the wedding traditions and exchange of vows. That’s the beauty of intimate weddings. Everyone pays attention because the couple means a lot to them.

The rustic outdoor wedding reception

Like the ceremony, the wedding dinner happened outdoors in a nature-surrounded setting. The courtyard was a perfect area for laidback celebrations like this because it’s a vast open space that can be decorated however the couple wants.

In the case of Marissa and Matthew, they preferred wooden tables and chairs with fresh blooms embedded on the surface to retain that fresh ambiance. The decor was indeed refreshing and timeless for any outdoor wedding in the French countryside.

When the night began, the area was filled with even more magic because of the lit-up string lights above them, giving a warm and laid-back ambiance for meaningful conversations and a festive celebration.
