Steeped in Irish history, the site of this luxury castle for weddings settled from ancient times, was ancestral home of the Fitzgerald family for 800 years. Change of ownership in 2015 breathed new life into the resort; priceless antiques were restored and rooms totally refurbished. Privacy
Larger groups of 40 or more guests can hire out the castle exclusively (taking all 19 bedrooms) for one or more nights. The difference between the exclusive and non-exclusive use of the Castle arrangement is that it wouldn’t be possible to have music (band and DJ) after dinner so as not to disturb other guests.
Accommodation
Today, the castle comprises of 19 luxury bedrooms, one of which is the exclusive Presidential Suite. Make it your cozy hideaway for your wedding day! Ceremony
This luxury Irish castle for weddings offers an Elopement Package for two people to include the following: civil ceremony room hire & set up. Small weddings that are not elopements, but rather intimate groups of less than 40 people where this historic 5* hotel is not hired exclusively, can have private use of one of the castle's function rooms to hold their ceremony and reception.
