Winter wonderland Swiss wedding with lake views in Ennetbürgen
I cannot recommend Peach Perfect Weddings enough. We had the best experience over the past year planning our wedding with Vanessza. Everything requested was granted without hesitation. On the day of our wedding, we couldn’t have been more pleased with the venue, stylist, celebrant, violinist and photographer. A staff member from the hotel actually thought our celebrant was one of our mothers because she was so kind, excited and involved in our day. I would recommend PPW without hesitation to absolutely anyone.

Planning their destination wedding in Switzerland
The day that Mallory and Jeff chose for their Swiss destination wedding was the peak of winter. On December 5, snow fell almost incessantly, and the sun could not keep up. Nevertheless, it was a perfect backdrop for a winter wonderland wedding, and that was what the couple had.
They wanted an outdoor ceremony, and there was no better place in the villa for a celebration like that than at the terrace overlooking the Alps.
This elopement for two was planned almost a year ahead of the actual date, so everything was polished, and the vendors were booked way ahead of the schedule. Since Mallory and Jeff had no guests, everything was a breeze from day one of planning until the end.
The goal was to make their dream wedding come true, and a big part of that was choosing the right venue and suppliers. We booked a villa on top of a mountain along Lake Lucerne, and it was fabulous from the inside out! Even in winter, when the grounds are covered in snow, you can still see the peaceful lake from above, along with the gorgeous snow-peaked mountains.
We booked a violinist to add romance to their big day and a celebrant to write the ceremony for them. We also helped them arrange a 5-course meal at the salon of the villa with their preferred menu.
About the wedding venue
Mallory and Jeff's chosen venue was a boutique hotel and villa atop a Swiss mountain overlooking the grand Lake Lucerne. All year round, it boasts panoramic mountain and lake views in a peaceful atmosphere perfect for elopements and intimate weddings. Couples can privatize the whole venue for their celebration for maximum privacy.
It offers several options for indoor and outdoor ceremonies and receptions, and it's complete with accommodations for a multi-day wedding. Marry outside with the scenic views in the background and enjoy a grand wedding reception inside the hotel's salon with exquisite details.
Couples can bring their dearest to the hotel so they can stay for two to three days or even more and enjoy a mini vacation in this nature-filled Swiss venue. Perched on the mountaintop at an altitude of 914 meters above sea level, you and your loved ones will surely enjoy the lake and mountain views from above.
The romantic day that was
Mallory and Jeff got exactly the elopement of their dreams - a winter wonderland outdoor ceremony with views of the Alps and an elegant dinner inside the villa's royal salon.
But before all that, the day started with a stress-free preparation. Mallory and Jeff got ready in separate rooms so they wouldn't see each other before the ceremony. Our bride did not need much help because she had her stylist and makeup artist to assist her. Both of them got ready just in time for the ceremony, but before they went to the scenic spot to exchange vows, they had their first look at the snow-covered front yard of the villa, where all you could see was white and the building in the background.
When they finally saw each other, they had a mini photoshoot from a different angle where you can see the snow-capped mountains in the background. After taking some photos for their first look, they finally went to the ceremony area, a circular spot on the terrace that was cleared to show the greens underneath. It looked like an oasis amidst the snowy ground, and it was perfect for an elopement for two. Inside the oasis was their wonderful celebrant, whom the hotel staff mistook for the bride or groom's mother because of her warmth and love throughout the day, and their violinist, who added music and romance to the air.
They had a meaningful ceremony with a unique segment wherein Mallory and Jeff drank wine to symbolize their love and union. The snow-capped mountains are all over the background the whole time, and they need no other decor because of that marvelous view right behind them.
The after-ceremony photoshoot
After the ceremony, they walked towards the hotel for aperitif and proceeded with the photoshoot right inside the hotel. You can see the sophisticated interiors of the hotel from the photos as Mallory and Jeff pose from the lobby with a Christmas tree to the staircase and into the suite with elegant paintings and curtains.
The couple's photoshoot could not be complete without outdoor photos showing the astounding nature surrounding the hotel. Their first stop was the rustic cottage along the road, then the alpine forest that was still green, but with bits of snow on the leaves. They also walked along a snow-plowed road to the terrace with the most spectacular views of the mountains and the meadows. Mallory and Jeff maximized their photoshoot until sunset.
Their Swiss destination wedding went as planned, with some bonuses that made it even more special. It was a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Switzerland that they will remember forever.
