About this venue

Highlights

First mentioned in the books during the 14th-century, this 4-star castle hotel in Costa Brava has a rich history kept within the walls of the building. With a total area of 12 hectares, you have a lot to discover in this Spanish castle estate.

What makes this venue stand out from all the other locations for destination weddings in Spain is that it combines the old with the new. The castle has modern rooms and facilities designed for maximum comfort of all its guests, while the castle itself has retained its historic charm. It offers plenty of indoor and outdoor spots for a scenic and elegant ceremony in Spain.

Location

Ideally located at the hilly backyard of the Costa Brava, this wedding castle stands in the middle of natural tranquility, whilst not too far from the buzzing city and popular beaches. After tying the knot in the castle grounds, you will enjoy visiting a wide variety of recreational and cultural spots in the region, from museums, quaint villages, to scenic Spanish beaches.

The castle is an ideal point to visit the important enclaves of the popular Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dalí. It will be worth your while to visit these three interesting locations - Teatro Museu Dalí Figueras, Casa Museu Castell Gala Púbol, and Casa Museu Salvador Dali Cadaqués.

Ceremony

A magical wedding day awaits you in the castle’s outdoor areas for a dreamy ceremony. You can tie the knot in the garden of the olive grove where wooden chairs for your guests can be arranged on the vibrant green field. The 14th-century castle will be the backdrop of your ceremony here.

If you’re looking for something more solemn and safe from all kinds of weather, you can opt for a wedding ceremony in the chapel. Just like the rest of the castle, the chapel has a captivating historic vibe inside and out, with an intact space for intimate wedding ceremonies.

Reception

After saying your I dos, we’ve now come to the most exciting part of your big day. While you scour the whole venue to locate the perfect spots for your photoshoot, drinks and canapés can be served to your guests in the garden where they can enjoy the views of the sun resting slowly in the picturesque Sant Martí de Tous landscapes.

When the sun is finally gone, the night begins and so does your wedding reception. Have a meaningful and beautiful wedding dinner at the venue’s magnificent terrace that can accommodate up to 250 people. It’s a well-lit space with lots of natural light coming from the opaque roof of the terrace that protects the guests from drizzles.

You can also hold the reception in one of the castle’s restaurants that offer delicious gastronomy made from a fusion of classical cuisine and seasonal products. Experience fine dining at its best, and savor it with your dearest and closest while enjoying amazing views outside.

There are three restaurants in the venue that you can choose from. One is a spacious glass-walled dining area with an outdoor terrace. The other is a smaller indoor spot for intimate celebrations, while our favorite dining spot is the outdoor restaurant atop the terrace with fairy lights, an open patio, and a swimming pool. This is where you can watch the best sunset views in this venue.

If you still want to continue partying until the break of dawn, you can bring your guests to the Lounge bar where you can drink until you drop! It’s an enchanting cave where you and your friends and loved ones can dance all night long.

Accommodation

Complete with all that you will ever need for your destination wedding in Spain, this historic castle has a total of 57 rooms, all equipped with air conditioner, central heating, and WiFi, among the other high-end features. To make your stay even more relaxing, every room has access to the two swimming pools. What a delight to your kids if you’re bringing them to your event.

Some of the rooms house Costa Brava artists’ paintings while some are designed with eclectic chic interiors. There are suites, rooms for two, and family rooms that cater to your specific needs.

Some of them are located in the heart of the castle with a combination of traditional Spanish furniture and modern decor. The most notable of which are the tower rooms that offer the best views of the countryside landscapes. If you want a garden view upon waking up in the morning, choose the castle’s garden rooms where you will be greeted by roses, vibrant bushes, and fragrant blooms when you get up.

There surely is a perfect accommodation for you among the 57 rooms of the castle hotel. If you’re already in love with this majestic venue in Costa Brava, send us an enquiry so we can jumpstart the planning process of your destination wedding in Spain.
