# Retro-style Ibiza wedding venue

The Romeos Ibiza is a wild child amongst our wedding venues in Spain. The stylish retro-themed boutique hotel on Ibiza's coast offers a few dozen rooms on site and a truly unique place to get married for couples who want anything but a white wedding.

## About this venue

### Highlights

Romeo's Ibiza commits fully to a Route 66 theme, right down to vintage American cars parked around the grounds and a heart-shaped hot tub by the pool. It's a sister property to Mongibello, another one of our stylish Ibiza venues, but goes for kitsch Americana instead of Italian glamour. The on-site Wedding Chapel can host a real, legally binding ceremony or a purely-for-fun one, complete with an Elvis-dressed officiant if couples want it. For couples after [Spanish all-inclusive wedding packages](/spain) with a sense of humor and style built in, it's one of a kind on the island.

### Style

Every detail leans into the 1950s-70s American motel look: cherry-red and mustard-yellow color schemes, neon signage, and retro furniture throughout. Each of the 33 rooms is named after a stop on Route 66 - Las Vegas, Tucumcari, California - carrying the theme from the lobby right through to where guests sleep. It's a deliberately playful style, closer to a well-loved American diner scene than a typical Mediterranean hotel, and it photographs like nowhere else in Ibiza.

### Location

The hotel sits in San Antonio Bay, about 300 meters from the nearest beach, in the Sant Josep de sa Talaia area of Ibiza. San Antonio's restaurants, bars and famous sunset spots are close by, so guests have somewhere to go once the wedding festivities wind down. It's a livelier corner of the island than some of Ibiza's quieter wedding venues, which suits couples planning a weekend built around going out as much as saying "I do." It's one of the more playful [wedding venues across Spain](/wedding-venues-in-spain) we work with.

### Ceremony

The on-site Wedding Chapel is built for a Las Vegas-style ceremony rather than a traditional one. Vintage cars, including Cadillac Fleetwoods, can be arranged to bring the couple to the chapel in style. A more traditional ceremony location by the pool or in one of the indoor space is, of course, also an option.

### Outdoor spaces

The pool area carries the retro theme outside: striped parasols, kitsch tiles, and a heart-shaped hot tub as the centerpiece. It works well for a relaxed daytime gathering or informal vow exchange, with vintage cars often parked nearby for photos. Compared to the chapel, it's a more casual option - somewhere for cocktails, sunbathing and photos rather than a formal ceremony setting, but no less true to the hotel's overall look.

### Entertainment

Once the sun goes down, the hotel's hidden Playroom takes over - open from 6pm to 8am, with a pole-dance bar, leopard-print sofas, a fully stocked bar, a DJ booth and karaoke. It holds up to 30 guests and needs booking in advance, so couples wanting it for their after-party should reserve it early.

### Catering

The hotel's own American diner, serves classic comfort food - burgers, milkshakes, bagels, mac and cheese, wings and ribs - with a nod to 1970s New York layered over the Mediterranean setting. It's a deliberately informal style of catering, built around shareable, familiar dishes rather than a formal plated dinner. For couples planning [Spain's destination weddings](/destination-weddings-in-spain) around a fun theme, it fits the rest of the hotel's personality.

### Accommodation

The hotel holds 33 rooms, each named for a Route 66 stop, and runs as an adults-only property. Guests booking a wedding here also get access to other Concept Hotel Group properties on the island, including Mongibello, so there's more than one hotel's worth of pool, dining and bar space to use over a longer stay. For couples working with [our local wedding planner in Spain](/wedding-planner-in-spain), that kind of shared access can be a useful card to play for bigger groups.
