Rolling hills, whimsical little castles and endless vineyards as far as the eye can see...doesn't sound like Germany? Alongside the Rhine River - or the Romantic Rhine as it is often called- you will not only find gorgeous castles perched high upon cliffs above the river. You will also stumble upon beautiful little vineries and vineyards if you know where to look!

Many of these vineyards have a long-standing history and are still owned by the original families that carry on the family tradition. One of these magical places is the Schloss Grünhaus which is owned by the Von Schubert family and has first been mentioned in the year 966 and therefore has more than 1000 years of history to look back upon! Their excellent wines have been tasted and approved by many esteemed clients even including the Buckingham Palace!

The little village is closely situated to bigger cities like Trier and has several options for accommodation and great restaurants to choose from nearby

The Schloss Grünhaus is an idyllic wedding venue in Germany that seems far away from the hassle of the city and still is a real hidden gem! Have your intimate wedding ceremony outside with a view of the vineyard hills to one side and the little castle to the other side. In case of rain, the Maximin Grünhaus has an indoor option available as well. After your ceremony, raise a glass of the excellent wine made directly on the property or even take a couple of bottles of your wedding wine home with you.

This wedding venue in Germany is best suited for smaller groups of up to 30 people in order to really enjoy the tranquil surroundings of this place.
