Built in 1870 on the elegant shores of Lake Maggiore, this hotel is a clear example of Belle Epoque architecture. It hosts frequent art exhibitions and music events.
Location
Near the wonderful lake path in the town of Pallanza, on a promontory directly in front of the lake and surrounded by a lovely quiet garden, the hotel enjoys a magnificent view of the Borromeo Islands and the mountains. Moreover, this venue is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World since 2002. Since 2007, it has been advised by Legambiente Turismo for defending the environment.
Reception
Three dining rooms for your wedding reception. Ancient saloons with lake views. Sala Toscanini, frescoed in 1870 by Moretti Foggia and Ferrero, is 275 m2 large and it has the opportunity to welcome up to 240 guests. Sala Intra, with a large terrace and fascinating ancient decoration, can contain up to 140 invitees for a cocktail reception or a buffet served banquet.
Facilities
A spa with a sauna, a swimming pool and a gym facing the big garden by the lake (4.000 m2) will be a nice addition should you need to relax before (or after!) your big day.
Ceremony
Sala Rossini, with wide windows facing the lake Maggiore has 120 seats. The location is near the centre of Pallanza, in a quiet position with a wonderful perspective on Lake Maggiore. It features a private garden, and even a small private beach. 100 rooms, including 32 junior suites and 6 suites, many of which have a balcony or a terrace in front of the Gulf Borromeo, giving a breathtaking experience to all guests.
