Reception

Enjoy an intimate dinner with your friends and family in one of the venue’s function rooms. Extend the celebration to the venue’s exclusive bar inside. This wedding venue offers in-house catering so you won’t need to worry about anything. The Castle Pavilion can seat up to 260 guests. A marquee can also be set up for both the ceremony and the reception.

Location

This castle in Ireland is just an hour and 20 minutes from Dublin and an hour from Belfast. It is situated adjacent to the Glaslough village and is dotted with a park land, woodlands, and streams.

Accommodation

This destination wedding venue has over 90 rooms in total where you and your guests can stay for the night. The main castle has 21 individually designed rooms with the majority having no radios or televisions for a genuine vacation experience. The fully restored Old Stable Mews has more rooms, offering a more homey ambiance. The third property called The Lodge has 50 bedrooms in total which are also available for your stay here.

Photoshoot

After the ceremony, have your photos taken along the Dream Lake that features an artificial island. Your photographer can also take you to the forest, the parkland, the gardens, or in front of the main castle for a glorious photo shoot.

Ceremony

The magnificent castle is full of old-world grandeur and character and can accommodate wedding parties with up to 70 guests. For larger wedding parties, The Pavilion at castle estate is a delightful space overlooking Glaslough Lake, which can accommodate up to 260 guests. Minimum numbers apply for weekends, bank holidays and peak dates throughout the year. (Please note Castle option is available on midweek dates only)

If you’re having an elopement for two in Ireland or a small wedding with up to 20 guests, choose any spot along the garden or in the parkland where you can hold a symbolic wedding ceremony. If you prefer a religious and legally-binding wedding, say your vows at the St. Salvator's Church which is also inside the estate. For an indoor and weather-proof ceremony, the main building is available for you. Its function room inside can accommodate up to 100 guests.
