This indoor wedding venue is the answer for couples who dream of getting married in the Cliffs of Moher but are worried about the unpredictable weather in this side of the country. It is that indoor and outdoor small wedding and elopement venue that is weather-proof and is closest to the popular spot in County Clare, the Cliffs of Moher. The venue is a traditional Irish stone barn situated in an eight-acre estate located right in front of the Atlantic Ocean. It lends breathtaking views of the majestic body of water and the surreal landscapes of County Clare. From up here, you’ll see the enormous body of water, the Galway Bay, Aran Islands, the Connemara, and The Burren National Park.
Ceremony
It’s a perfect location for a very intimate wedding of up to 12 guests. While nothing beats an outdoor ceremony in the Cliffs of Moher, this indoor wedding venue offers a secured place should it rain on your wedding day. Getting married in this indoor venue will not take away the excitement of a clifftop wedding, thanks to its glass doors facing the ocean. These glass doors will allow you and your guests to see the spectacular Atlantic ocean while the ceremony is ongoing.
Reception
If you’re lucky enough to have a bright, sunny weather on your big day, the indoor wedding venue near a cliff can be your reception venue right after the ceremony. The venue owners provide glassware, cutlery, and crockery so you just have to bring the food for the event. There’s also a small freezer for cake, desserts, and other food that needs chilling. Just outside the barn is a patio area where you can relax as you watch the view of the ocean and the evergreen landscapes of Ireland. You can even have the ceremony and the reception here if it won’t rain on your wedding day.
Facilities
Aside from the ceremony and reception areas, this elopement and small wedding venue in County Clare also has a changing room where the couples can prepare and get dressed. It’s complete with seats, mirrors, a make-up table, and all the toiletries that the bride and groom may need for the preparation. Parking for up to six cars is available on-site.
