Rainy autumn elopement near the Cliffs of Moher
Story
It’s not very easy to pick the best date to get married in Ireland because the weather is unpredictable almost all year round. Summer weddings may have the best chance of sunny weather, but there are lots of tourists visiting the country at this time. Christina and Jeffrey knew this so well, but they did not mind the drizzle when they got married in the rainy autumn season.
This couple are adventurers at heart. What matters to them the most is that the beautiful Irish nature would be showcased on their big day. Although they picked a date in September for their destination wedding, and it rained at the ceremony, the scene was still beautiful.
They tied the knot in a popular tower near the cliffs, with only eight guests attending the ceremony. There were no crowds or spectators as they said I do because September is an off-peak season for tourist visits. Christina and Jeffrey had a serene and meaningful ceremony with the most important people in their lives.
At one point, Christina had to hold an umbrella, but instead of ruining the ceremony, the dotted umbrella added a little spice to the formal event. It was drizzling the whole time, but it did not diminish the beauty of this Irish wedding venue. The tower was still as majestic and truly unique as it had always been.
Christina and Jeffrey were as unstoppable as the rain. They proceeded right away to the cliffs for their wedding photoshoot, and oh boy, the photos were just stunning! Even though the location was a tourist spot, their photos on the cliffs looked as if they were the only people in the venue.
The newlyweds grabbed all the opportunity they could get to have their photos taken in the most scenic spots of the cliffs, and it was worth it!
