Purple and greens for an intimate wedding in a castle ruin in Dingle

An intimate ceremony in spring amidst the lush open field of the Irish countryside is a wonderful idea if you want a nature-themed minimalist wedding in Europe.

Diana and Kyle are not strangers to the great outdoors, being residents of the beautiful country of Germany. Sure there are awesome nature spots in their home country, but they wanted the unique and breathtaking landscapes of Ireland for their most special day.

For this reason, they tapped our help to fulfill their dream Irish wedding in the most iconic, historic, and nature-surrounded location we can recommend. The result was a vibrant outdoor wedding inside a castle ruin in Dingle.

This specific venue ticked off all their boxes. The castle ruin has thousands of years of history, and it is ideally located amidst the farmlands in the Irish countryside. Not only that! There was a bonus for Diana and Kyle - a rocky beach just a few walks away from their ceremony spot! They could not ask for more!

From the photos below, you can see the joy and excitement of the couple and the whole gang when they reached the castle ruin where Diana and Kyle said I do. Their small guest list is composed of only ten people including the parents and loved ones of the two. The wedding theme was purple, and this favorite color of the bride was all over her bouquet and their wedding cake. This was something that she specifically requested for her most important day.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds proceeded to walk outside the castle ruin and found a stretch of farmland filled with wildflowers. It was one of our favorite sets in their photoshoot! Their next stop was nothing else but the rocky beach with sea views as far as the eye can see! They walked along the beach into the forest, and finally to the Irish pub where they celebrated with their loved ones. Intimate weddings are truly special, if not better than traditional weddings with a big guest list.
