Brianna and Rachel’s small wedding in Ireland

Brianna and Rachel's Irish destination wedding was nothing short of a fairytale. Surrounded by nature's enchantment, the couple exchanged vows beneath a beautiful glass-walled pavilion overlooking serene gardens, their love story unfolding in one of Ireland's most picturesque settings.

They tied the knot in one of our wedding venues in Ireland with the most surreal gardens, a charming gazebo, and an enchanting pond. After the ceremony, they strolled along the estate's serene lake, capturing breathtaking bridal portraits against the golden autumn backdrop.

Planning an intimate Irish wedding from Virginia, USA

Less than a year before their target big day, Brianna and Rachel found us, Peach Perfect Weddings, and the rest is history.

They had always known in their hearts that they wanted a small wedding in Ireland with just their favorite people - closest loved ones and friends - celebrating with them overseas. They needed destination wedding planners who would handle everything for them without requiring their physical presence during the planning process.

What we offered was the exact solution they needed. With our wedding packages in Ireland, they got our local planner as their single point of contact to the venue and vendors. They simply shared their vision with their dedicated planner, who ensured that everything was smoothly communicated to the vendors, turning Brianna and Rachel's dream into reality.

From the welcome sign to the bouquets, cake, and table arrangements, our planner and handpicked vendors executed everything exactly as our couple envisioned. They've worked together in making several Irish destination wedding dreams come true, so there was natural symmetry and harmony in the way they brought Brianna and Rachel's vision to life.

It also helped that their chosen venue was whimsical in itself, making their fairytale wedding possible without excessive styling. In fact, they only needed a few decorations to enhance the already magical space.

Getting married in a whimsical estate near Dublin

Brianna and Rachel loved Ireland for its lush green landscapes and homey ambiance, and they wanted to showcase these two elements on their big day.

The familiarity of our destination wedding planner in Ireland with the best locations for intimate weddings came in handy. She shortlisted the most suitable venues, and our couple unanimously chose Cliffs at Lyons.

Nestled in a storybook village reminiscent of the Shire, their venue was a dream come to life — mint-green gates, ivy-draped stone walls glowing in autumn hues, and a charming glass-walled ceremony space that felt like pure magic.

The walled estate is a beautifully restored collection of event rooms, accommodations, and cottages with authentically Irish architecture. Historic stone walls embedded with wooden doors and large windows, a lovely courtyard drenched in florals and lush greens, and an iconic dovecote showcased everything Brianna and Rachel loved about Ireland.

The estate is conveniently located only 30 minutes from the capital, offering proximity to Dublin Airport while maintaining countryside serenity.

Our couple found not only the perfect wedding venue, but a temporary home that accommodated their small group of guests with tranquility and grandeur. The entire wedding party stayed at the estate beyond the wedding day, enjoying its outdoor wellness retreat and extensive gardens.

First look moments, wedding dresses, and bouquets

Brianna, Rachel, and their guests stayed at the venue the night before the wedding, so it was convenient for everyone to get ready for the big day. This meant stress-free preparations and genuine smiles during the getting-ready process.

Our brides wore different dresses and carried unique bouquets that showcased their personalities, yet both were equally stunning. Rachel chose a low-cut V-neck wedding dress with laced long sleeves, and carried a white bouquet with only mint green and white shades - highlighting her simplicity and minimalism.

Brianna, on the other hand, wore a more playful and daring outfit - a sleeveless gown with open sides in a mermaid cut, featuring geometric patterns and delicate raised embroidery that caught the light beautifully. Her bouquet was predominantly white and green, with touches of lavender and light blue flowers.

After getting ready, they each had separate first looks with their fathers, and those were among the most treasured moments of the day. Their dads couldn't help but adore the beauty of their daughters, emotions captured perfectly in still images by their talented photographer.

Brianna and Rachel's first look with each other followed, and that became the highlight of their intimate wedding. In front of the country house's façade, covered in autumn ivy leaves, our two brides held hands in excitement. When they finally faced each other, they couldn't help but be in awe of each other's beauty!

That moment was as breathtaking as their authentic Irish venue.

A green-themed ceremony in a fairytale setting

There was nothing else left to do but say their I do's. Inside the charming glass-walled event room, Brianna and Rachel walked down the aisle and exchanged their vows. The space was beautiful in itself, with a pastel green trellis that extended to the roof and glass walls that offered views of the flourishing gardens. But something magical was added to enhance the natural beauty.

The couple's florist designed a circular ceremony arch adorned with lush green leaves and bright white flowers, with lavender accents on the sides. It was just as whimsical as the estate's gardens!

Brianna and Rachel said their I do's with the arch behind them and a landscaped garden as their backdrop. The raw moments of romance, laughter, and tears were captured by their photographer during the ceremony. But this wasn't even the best part yet.

The fairytale lake photoshoot

After exchanging vows and sharing "The Kiss," Brianna and Rachel made their way to the lake right within the estate grounds for our favorite part of the day.

Standing on the wooden boardwalk in the middle of the lake, the newlyweds shared romantic moments, savoring the success of their dream Irish destination wedding. Framed by lush trees and lotus leaves floating atop the waters, Brianna and Rachel stood on the boardwalk with a small stone pavilion right behind them. The two brides held their bouquets, looking absolutely radiant in their wedding dresses amidst the perfect natural setting they'd traveled to Ireland to experience.

It was like a scene from a beloved fairytale - only this was our couple's reality during their intimate wedding in Ireland. They kissed and embraced and savored the privacy, away from their guests, with only their photographer capturing these once-in-a-lifetime moments.

The photos speak for themselves.

An intimate celebration under twinkling lights

As evening approached, Brianna and Rachel gathered with their small group of guests for an intimate dinner in the same beautiful glass-walled space where they'd exchanged their vows earlier. A long elegant table was set for their closest loved ones, adorned with the same lush greenery and white florals that had framed their ceremony.

The atmosphere was warm and magical as they dined together, sharing toasts, laughter, and heartfelt speeches from family and friends who had traveled across the ocean to celebrate their love. The glass walls allowed the golden sunset to filter through, and as darkness fell, twinkling lights illuminated the space, creating an enchanting ambiance.

After dinner, they spent the last hours of their celebration partying like there was no tomorrow - dancing, laughing, and making memories with the people who mattered most. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day, intimate and joyful in every way they'd imagined.

No regrets about traveling to Ireland for their big day

More than just a micro wedding, this was an unforgettable adventure. Brianna, Rachel, and their closest loved ones, who traveled all the way from the US, experienced the warmth of the Irish people, the beauty of the landscape, and the magic of a place that felt like it was made just for them.
