Indoor ceremony and clifftop photoshoot for two in Clare
Story
Getting married does not need to be complicated. You don't need a headcount or a guest list. If you've forgotten this, let Sarissa and John remind you of what your big day is all about.
They did not invite anyone to their wedding, and it's not a bad thing. They wanted to have this experience all on their own because that's what weddings are all about anyway - the two of you and your love for each other.
For Sarissa and John, they had this Irish experience all to themselves, and they loved every bit of it! They chose September as their wedding month and booked a hotel in County Clare for an unforgettable destination elopement in Ireland.
Unlike most couples, they stayed in one room for the wedding preparations and helped each other get ready. Sarissa's bouquet was the star, with huge sunflowers and tiny baby's breath to embellish the masterpiece. The bride wore a classy white wedding dress and a pair of lovely wedge shoes with laces that matched her dress.
The two had a private ceremony in a small event space in the hotel, with only the celebrant and the harpist attending their big day. It was a simple yet heartfelt ceremony where Sarissa and John listened to the celebrant's personal message for them. Most importantly, they exchanged vows with beautiful Irish music in the background. After the ceremony was the most exciting part of the day.
Sarissa and John were blessed with beautiful weather despite the usual rains during the autumn season. They first walked along the winding road amidst the Irish green landscape, then proceeded to the cliffs for their photoshoot.
Finally, the newlyweds reached the most beautiful spot on the cliff and stayed there for as long as they wanted. They enjoyed the blue waters, the majestic cliffs on the other side, the meadows, and the skies that paused raining to give them what they came to Ireland for.
