Story

Our couple tied the knot in mid-autumn at a castle ruin perched atop the Dingle peninsula, and their special day was anything but ordinary.

Tara and James' wedding ceremony in Ireland was truly unique, with elements that you won't ordinarily see on a couple's big day. Our fabulous bride wore a combination of black and maroon, with a black crown and a cape of the same color. We love her unconventional bouquet with blue and purple shades of flowers seasoned with a bit of red roses. Their wedding ceremony was similarly unique, with handfasting and a one-of-a-kind glass and ring ceremony incorporated into the affair.

It was a lovely afternoon when they began the ceremony, and the weather could not be better. The fresh Irish breeze blew softly on the couple and their handful of guests while the sun provided enough light and warmth for the special occasion.

Coming all the way from the US, it was very important to make Tara and James' destination wedding in Ireland super special. When you're traveling that far to make sure your dream wedding comes true, you expect nothing less than amazing. Gladly, for these two, their unique wedding venue, the idyllic Irish nature, and the beautiful weather on their big day were in perfect harmony in making their once-in-a-lifetime event as awesome as any wedding can get.

It was also a great time to enjoy the views of the Irish landscape and to spend a slow afternoon inside a pub, because tourists seldom visit in autumn. Right after their ceremony and photoshoot, Tara and James went straight to a traditional Irish pub nearby to have some drinks, and to mingle with the locals there. Sometimes, a quick escape like this to a beautiful destination like Ireland is all that a couple needs to break the monotony of their daily routine and create new memories they will fondly talk about for a lifetime.
