Bright spring day for a lakeside church wedding for two in Cork

There is nothing quite like the nature scenes in Ireland - wide green fields as far as the eye can see, pristine forests next to picturesque lakes, and historic buildings above the hills and in the middle of the green Irish landscapes. Rachel and Sean were able to pull off their dream wedding in one of Ireland’s quiet towns, with astounding nature scenes and a beautiful church in the middle.

As Catholics, Rachel and Sean wanted to have a religious ceremony in a church. Alongside that request, the couple also wanted to get married amidst the breathtaking Irish nature so they will have photos that will forever remind them of their Irish wedding experience.

When we heard about these requests, we only had one venue in mind, and the couple loved it so much! We helped them plan their wedding day, from the hotel where they stayed for the wedding preparations to the venue, and the photoshoot.

Based on their vision for their big day, we suggested a lakeside chapel for the ceremony, which is surrounded by forests, and scenic views of the Irish mountains. The small chapel is perfect for adventurers and nature lovers who want an intimate wedding and a religious ceremony. Rachel and Sean had a meaningful ceremony officiated by a Catholic priest. They had no guests on their wedding day, but the wedding was everything they could wish for. Their church wedding had all the elements of a religious ceremony that they requested, and they were able to have their dream wedding photos amidst the astounding Irish nature scene.

Right after the ceremony, the newlyweds walked along the nature path, with the beautiful lake and forest in the background. The chapel was also part of their after-ceremony wedding photos where its ideal location along the lake was showcased.
