Bride wears stunning blue fur coat for their elopement in Kerry
Story
Meredith and Antonio’s destination wedding in Ireland is everything but ordinary. Their wedding venue was a former monastery and graveyard, and their transportation to the ceremony was a green carriage.
You see, these two adventurers are also far from an ordinary couple. They live in Florida but did not want to settle with a traditional wedding at home although it could have been a more convenient option. They chose to fly all the way to Ireland for an elopement with only eight guests.
There are so many great things to say about Meredith and Antonio’s elopement, but one of our favorites was the bride’s comfy and stylish fur coat that emphasized her unique personality and adventurous character. All eyes were on her when she walked down the aisle in her white princess dress and the stunning fur coat!
They had an extraordinary ceremony in the former monastery with only eight guests, and the affair included a Celtic tradition of handfasting. Long walks inside the monastery ruins and along the former graveyard followed after, and the couple could not be more delighted. They loved the combination of history and pristine nature of Killarney, the humble Irish town where they got married. Having a photoshoot in these breathtaking locations was a dream come true for Meredith and Antonio. These features of the Irish landscape are the very reason why they chose a destination wedding over a more convenient wedding at home.
Their first reason was to have a unique experience like this, and the second was to give their favorite people similar amazing memories that they would treasure forever. After their photoshoot, the couple went to the restaurant that they booked for an intimate wedding dinner with their small group. They had a minimalist one-layered cake, sumptuous Irish food, and delicious wine for the celebration.
