Highlights

When you picture a fairytale setting, you might think of a beautiful castle in the countryside with a drawbridge, whimsical castle towers covered in ivy and climbing roses and little cobblestone alley leading to enclosed courtyards. Well, this is exactly how this medieval water castle in Franconia can be described! When you enter this wedding castle in Bavaria through its baroque clock tower, you find yourself thrown back in time! It is situated in a tranquil and peaceful area of Franconia and is surrounded by green meadows and little lakes to all sides.

Ceremony

Your symbolic ceremony can take place at your favourite spot in the castle - be it in the beautiful courtyard area, on the meadow outside or in the former castle hall in case of rain.

Reception

Keep in mind that this medieval water castle in Franconia is not your typical hotel and therefore doesn't have a bar or restaurant. We'll be happy to make reservations for you in nearby restaurants or arrange for exclusive catering for your wedding dinner.

Accommodation

There are seven authentic apartments available inside the castle to accommodate you and your guests for your wedding in Germany. Here, the Baron and Baroness invite you to stay for at least three days to truly enjoy your time in Bavaria. The castle offers breakfast on request and can arrange for a candlelight dinner for you and your loved one. If more guests will be joining you for your destination wedding, we can arrange transportation to the hotels in the surrounding towns close to the castle.

Activities

When staying in the castle for your intimate elopement in Germany, you have the perfect access to many of the major cities in Bavaria such as Nuremberg or Munich as well as historical and cultural highlights that you can visit either by yourself or let an experienced tour guide show you the best places to see.
