Autumn elopement with seven guests along a Bavarian lake
Story
Randi and Jake had zero regrets when they traveled to Bavaria from Kansas, USA to a place like this on their wedding day! It was a clear autumn day when the two tied the knot in Germany, bringing seven of their loved ones to their special day. They got what they came for and more!
Planning their destination wedding in Germany
We cannot emphasize enough that having a destination elopement with only a handful of guests is the best way to ensure that your big day will be stress-free. Indeed, Randi and Jake’s wedding day and the process of planning the entire wedding were not without challenges.
There were bumps along the way, which is expected when you’re planning a wedding abroad. However, we easily overcame those challenges because there were fewer complexities in planning an elopement with only a few guests, like Randi and Jake. Because the whole group was only less than then people, we were able to book them easily in one hotel for the rest of their stay in Germany.
This alpine lake in Bavaria is one of the top spots for adventure elopements in Germany, and it’s perfectly fitting for couples who want something extraordinary for their big day. No wonder it was also Randi and Jake’s choice for their destination wedding. They loved the idea of getting married with an alpine scene in the background on an autumn day in September. Alpine lakes and the nature scenes during this season in Bavaria, are truly magical. We knew that this was going to be a perfect day for these two adventurers because they picked an awesome venue in a beautiful season of the year.
About the wedding venue
We can’t find the right words to describe this lake in Bavaria. It’s one of the top venues that our couples choose for their destination wedding in Germany, and it’s not hard to see why. From the clear turquoise lake to the breathtaking alpine scene, you will never run out of reasons to love this elopement venue for adventurers in Bavaria.
Despite the seeming seclusion of this nature spot from the rest of Bavaria, there are several hotels nearby that you can book for your wedding and honeymoon. These accommodation options are not just inns or lodges, but quality hotels that provide excellent services with modern facilities.
That’s the reason why it was very easy to book beautiful rooms for Randi and Jake’s whole gang. The hotel was only fifteen minutes away from the ceremony spot, and it was very convenient for all of them to travel from the hotel to the lake.
The romantic day that was
Having an elopement with zero to only a handful of guests will make your big day stress-free and very special for you and your favorite people. Randi and Jake knew this so well, and they brought only seven of their loved ones for this German elopement.
Everyone had a wonderful time from the moment they arrived at the hotel. The natural surroundings of the hotel were also great because the building sits along a German lake as well. However, the best alpine views can be seen from the lake that Randi and Jake chose for their ceremony.
The two had their first look just outside the hotel, with an amazing natural scene. Randi held a huge bouquet of roses and berries while wearing her simple and elegant sleeveless lace wedding dress. Jake could not hide his amazement upon seeing his bride, and he quickly hugged and kissed her!
Jake proceeded to the alpine lake with their guests, and they all waited for the beautiful bride who braved the rocky aisle leading to her groom. The alpine scene behind them was straight out of the fairytale! Pine trees lined up on the other side as if watching the celebration, and the clear lake was the star of the ceremony. You could see the joy and awe in the faces of Randi and Jake’s guests. They also fell in love with the alpine scene right before them!
The breathtaking photoshoot
Their guests also took the chance to have their photos taken against the magical lake, but after that, they went back to the hotel while Randi and Jake enjoyed the scene longer. They went to the best spots of the lake for their photoshoot, and the Alps behind them were the best part of the backdrop.
