Pink-themed chic wedding in an elegant chateau along Dordogne river

Who wouldn’t want to get married in a French chateau like this? It’s ideally located along the Dordogne River in the quiet French countryside, with a magical courtyard perfect for a chic wedding surrounded by unspoiled nature. There’s even a fountain in the middle that our couple found a great addition to ther destination wedding.

Charlotte and Shanif wanted to make their big day memorable not only for them, but for their friends and family who tavelled all the way to Dordogne, France to celebrate with them. True enough, their wedding day was so amazing that some of their guests wanted the same kind of wedding for themselves.

This beautiful couple arrived at the chateau before their wedding day to savor the beauty of the whole estate before things got busy. In fact, their photographer started taking photos of them a day before the wedding to make sure they have all the memories of their romantic wedding week. When their big day finally arrived, Charlotte and Shanif got ready in separate rooms to build the excitement of the ceremony.

As expected, Shanif could not hide the smile on his face when he finally saw his lovely bride in white! They tied the knot in one of the best areas of the estate, an open space outdoors surrounded by fresh nature. Charlotte and Shanif stood atop a small red bridge suspended above a narrow river-like water feature. Their guests were all seated in the lush field on both sides of the bridge. It was a lovely scene and a truly unforgettable one.

After the kiss and the couple’s march, the guests enjoyed the drinks reception at the courtyard while the newlyweds walked around the estate for their photoshoot. Charlotte had a little surprise for Shanif. Our lovely bride rented a vinatge car, and gave her groom the chance to drive it around the chateau grounds. This was a lovely surprise for Shanif, because he's a vintaeg car enthusiast, and it was an unforgettable experience to drive one in a foreign land. Finally, the couple joined their guests in the courtyard where they had an amazing reception program.

The chateau chef prepared sumptuous French dishes for them that everyone could not stop talking about! When they were all full, all of them proceeded inside the chateau for a party that lasted until late at night. Before their guests grooved to the music, Charlotte and Shanif cut their chic pink-themed wedding cake and entertained their guests and family with a wedding dance!
