# A chapel in the snowy woods - a historic winter wedding in a German castle

Winter in Germany carries a particular mood, and a winter wedding in a medieval castle even more so. Our stylish couple Megan & Gary made this castle and its chapel in the woods the setting for the celebration of their love.

## Story

Megan and Gary - and the wedding they envisioned - were anything but ordinary. Rather than opting for a traditional wedding in the U.S., a classic villa or country house venue, or the typical large guest list, they chose something deeply personal and entirely unique. They traveled to Germany for a private elopement in the heart of Hessen, surrounded by the quiet beauty of winter woods and the charm of a centuries-old castle.

With only 14 cherished guests in attendance, their celebration was intimate, intentional, and filled with meaning. The snowy forest, the timeless architecture, and the cozy, almost storybook atmosphere created a truly whimsical setting - perfect for a love story that defied convention and embraced magic in every detail.
