# Dreamy lakeside wedding on a raft in Bavaria

It is not often that a groom contacts us even before proposing to his bride - but that is exactly how our planning journey for Alyssa & Ryan's wedding began. The lovely couple and their guests experienced Germany with its Oktoberfest, and dramatic nature, and got married on an autumn day below the mountains of southern Germany.

## Story

Everybody who’s ever been to Germany in October knows that rain and wind are pretty much to be expected. But when Ryan & Alyssa eloped in early October, the sun was shining all day long without a single drop of rain in sight! 




**About the venue**
The wedding ceremony was held on the gorgeous Riesser Lake that is surrounded by views of the Alps to every side. The couple said their vows to each other in the middle of the lake on a floating raft.
