Planning a wedding online seems so daunting but from the very first email we knew we didn't need to worry. Vanessza was absolutely phenomenal at planning our elopement in Austria, nothing was too much trouble for her even when I was emailing 20 times a day. She took all the stress away and made it such an easy and enjoyable process. Even when something went wrong the day before she quickly sorted it and made it better than originally planned. She had everything under control and was so well organised. We had the perfect day and couldnt have wished for anything better.

Planning their wedding in Austria
Almost a thousand miles away from their home country, Victoria and Lee decided to tie the knot in a magical venue in Austria despite the distance and all the challenges. They wanted something unique and astounding for their big day, that’s why they chose a beautiful villa along a breathtaking lake in Austria for their European elopement. From day one of wedding planning, Victoria and Lee have always wanted to tie the knot with no guests. Unlike most couples, their dream wedding involved only the two of them in a scenic place far away from home.
Vanessza, our wedding planner, helped them plan and execute their dream elopement in Austria by scouting for the perfect venue and the right suppliers for Victoria and Lee’s big day. They wanted a legally-binding wedding, so Vanessza assisted them with the required paperwork. When their venue was finally booked, everything followed. Their suppliers included a hair and makeup artist, a bouquet and boutonniere supplier, and a photographer.
About the wedding venue
At the heart of Pörtschach am Wörthersee lies this classic villa with an authentically Austrian charm from facade to interiors. It's a beautiful venue for the dreamiest ceremonies situated in a secluded village with unparalleled natural views.
The villa is situated in an established summer resort with breathtaking views of the lake, woodlands, and mountains all year round. It's an excellent place for fairytale elopements with a serene ambiance away from the city’s hustle and bustle.
Couples can get married outdoors overlooking the lake and the mountains. The venue has several ceremony spaces featuring scenic views, from the spacious terrace for intimate weddings, and the lush garden for smaller ceremonies, to the floating gazebo for elopements. There are equally beautiful areas for wedding receptions or a romantic dinner for two where you can enjoy the venue’s sumptuous offerings.
The romantic day that was
Victoria and Lee’s big day started with a stress-free preparation. No strict timelines or the usual unexpected things that happen just before the couple says their I dos. The absence of guests on their big day worked to their advantage, as it became less complicated and simply all about the two of them.
They got ready in the same room and helped each other prepare for the ceremony. From the start of their wedding preps, the views outside lighten up the day. The moment they stepped out of the room, the lake and the mountains welcomed them in their full glory and served as their wedding backdrop for the ceremony.
They tied the knot in a floating gazebo directly above the lake in a legal ceremony with an authorized minister. Victoria and Lee’s ceremony was nothing but heartfelt, filled with genuine moments of laughter and tears. Vanessza was there the whole time, guiding and helping the couple to ensure they would have a stress-free wedding.
The after-ceremony photoshoot
After the ceremony, the two went closer to the lake to take beautiful wedding photos of the lake and the mountains in the background. They also walked to the woodlands near the venue to enjoy the astounding nature views in this Austrian location. Victoria and Lee made sure that they had enough photos to remind them of this once-in-a-lifetime destination wedding.
